Agri-Tourism in Pemberton

Pemberton has perfect soil conditions and a very unique micro climate. Combined with generations of farmers’ knowledge and hard work, we have become an exceptional farming community. Famous for producing seed potatoes – and now equally as famous for amazing vegetables, cranberries, fruit, beef, lamb , wine, coffee and so much more.

Organic farming is now prevalent in the community and demand has increased over the years. There are several organic farms in the valley producing great food for all of us in the corridor and beyond.

“Foodies” can enjoy a day at North Arm Farm, McEwan's farm for u-pick strawberries, Pemberton Distillery or taking part in the annual Slow Food Cycle.

Experience North Arm Farm. The Sturdy family grows organic strawberries, raspberries, blueberries as well as a number of vegetables including beans, squash and carrots. This 60 acre working farm is open to the public daily from mid May to mid October. The farm has a full kitchen where you can enjoy lunch or a picnic. Children will love visiting the animals and picking fruit. If you are here during Thanksgiving, you can take a horse drawn wagon ride to the pumpkin patch. For more information, visit North Arm Farm.
